Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a Senior AWS Security Engineer with a strong focus on AWS security.
- Utilize strong knowledge of AWS security services and best practices to enhance security measures.
- Implement Terraform for infrastructure automation to streamline processes.
- Design network security within AWS and ensure compliance with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with SIEM tools and AWS logging services for effective monitoring and analysis.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, etc.
- Develop and set AWS security standards and guardrails, including SCPs, security policies, IAM, and remote access procedures.
- Integrate AWS into the security stack using tools like Wiz, Sentinel, etc.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in security implementations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive security measures.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security Specialty or similar qualifications.
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security with a focus on AWS security.
- Strong understanding of AWS security services, Terraform, SIEM tools, and AWS logging services.
- Experience with security frameworks, setting AWS security standards, and integrating AWS into security practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong network design, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
