Now, we’re looking for an AWS-savvy Technology Development Specialist to join our high-impact Partnerships team and drive the next chapter of our AWS success story.
What’s the role all about?
You’ll be the go-to AWS expert, working at the intersection of business development, partner engagement, and technical strategy. Your mission? Drive AWS platform adoption, co-sell with AWS teams, and position Insight as the leading solutions integrator in the cloud space.
This is a role for someone who knows AWS inside out—and can sell it with confidence.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive AWS growth: Identify, develop, and close AWS-related opportunities in collaboration with Insight and AWS sales teams.
- Be the AWS evangelist: Articulate the value of AWS and Insight’s services to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
- Partner power: Support the Partner Manager in executing strategic business plans, aligning with AWS growth objectives.
- Pipeline pro: Build and manage a robust pipeline, track performance, and forecast revenue with precision.
- Client whisperer: Build long-term relationships, deliver exceptional after-sales support, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Campaign catalyst: Launch go-to-market campaigns, drive sales readiness, and ensure timely execution.
- Market explorer: Research new markets, identify client needs, and shape Insight’s AWS strategy accordingly.
What we’re looking for:
- AWS expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS services, strategy, and ecosystem. AWS Architect Associate certification (or higher) preferred.
- Sales DNA: Proven experience in business development, pre-sales, or technical sales—especially in cloud environments.
- Strategic thinker: Able to align technical solutions with business goals and drive measurable outcomes.
- Relationship builder: Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Data-driven: Comfortable analysing sales data and using insights to shape strategy.
- Communicator: Confident in delivering presentations and creating high-quality client-facing documentation.
