We are looking for an Account Manager to work alongside an account lead, managing a portfolio of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, identify new business opportunities, and deliver tailored IT solutions from a broad range of industry-leading vendors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of customers, including FTSE companies.
  • Drive new business opportunities, focusing on IT hardware, software, and service solutions from top vendors across the industry (e.g., HP, Dell, Cisco, and others).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, providing consultative sales and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions for customer needs.
  • Achieve or exceed revenue and profit targets, ensuring pipeline growth and client retention.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline management to ensure business objectives are met.

 

What we’re looking for:  

  • Demonstrated experience in business development or sales, particularly in IT sales (hardware, software, services).
  • Proven success in selling to mid-market or enterprise-level clients, with experience managing accounts of 7,000+ employees.
  • Experience selling into finance or insurance sectors is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of products from a broad range of IT vendors (e.g., HP, Dell, Cisco, and other leading technology providers).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Professional and highly motivated, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
