Associate Infrastructure Technician

Insight is seeking a highly motivated Associate Infrastructure Technician to join our team. As an Associate Infrastructure Technician, you will be part of a 24/7/365 coverage team with the primary function of providing 1st tier onsite customers and technical support to customer requests within the Service Level Agreement time frame. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, be detail-oriented, possess a quality mindset, and have the ability to work in a team environment. The role requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations, as well as the ability to write reports and/or business correspondence.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to follow procedures and protocols accurately and consistently.

 

What you’ll need to succeed 

  • High School degree or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous data center experience and/or network cabling experience a plus.
  • Technical degree or any IT certification(s) is a plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a quality mindset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and present a professional image.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible with assigned work schedule.
