The Associate Solutions Leader supports the Solution Leadership sales function to drive profitable solutions revenue, lead client engagements and work with the wider Insight organisation. This role will support Solutions Leadership by contributing to complex and customised solutions within a cross-functional team to design, propose, and deliver solutions that will deliver against the client's business outcomes. They will also collaborate with sales leaders, the wider sales teams, partners, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination of sales strategies and governance activities.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• In collaboration with Practice Leads/ country SPOC’s develop sales strategies at a Practice level to support business growth, maximise profitability and maintain utilisation rates within the Solutions business.
• Responsible for Practice specific sales forecasts and pipelines, and support the qualification of clients using the Land, Adopt, Expand, and Renew model.
• Support risk assessment for client qualification, considering client, commercial, and technical risks.
• In conjunction with wider team identify and support potential Practice specific opportunities within an account portfolio to support growth at an account/ segment level .
• Keep informed of market trends and competitor activities to support sales strategy adjustments.
• Contribute to the sales process for solutions, including proposal development and contract negotiation support.
• Work with key stakeholders across teams to support the achievement of sales targets and performance goals.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with business leaders to ensure sales strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and in the creation of proposals and contracts for solutions.
• Support negotiations and deal closures with clients and partners, adhering to company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• A confident, enthusiastic, and proactive communicator.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Able to identify and understand client pain points, motivations and willingness to address these challenges and map potential technology solutions to resolve these.
• Demonstrate high level of business acumen with the ability to understand the clients current and future challenges.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Relevant experience within the technology sector, ideally experience of working for a managed services provider.
