Desktop Support Technician

Insight Enterprise is seeking Desktop Support Technicians working onsite with our client large aerospace client. Savannah, GA. This is a full-time permanent opportunity working for Insight Enterprise. What you'll be doing at Insight:

  • Provide an onsite presence to which the Service desk will transfer incidents that it cannot solve remotely
  • Support desktop, laptops, and network equipment with primary focus on the installation, repair, IMAC and/or maintenance of personal computer hardware equipment and peripheral devices
  • Basic service desktop requests
  • Install Move Add Change (IMAC) activity
  • Application break/fix trouble shooting
  • Desktop related tasks as directed by the client
  • Manage tickets – assign, notes, closure, or escalation
  • Re-image of existing equipment under repair
  • Services may include packing up PC, Telecom, and data equipment 
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees experiencing technical difficulty (White Glove Service)
  • Service ticketing management and resolution

 

What you'll need to join Insight:

  • 3+ years applicable experience
  • Experience with PC messaging and software applications
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments
  • Troubleshooting experience of hardware and software in Windows Environments
  • Ability to travel between many buildings 
  • Just have a positive attitude and be able to provide excellent customer support
