Insight’s Digital Innovation Solutions team is bringing exciting products to market built on Insight Connected Platform™, our award-winning enterprise B2B IoT platform. Our newest product in the Connected Suite is Connected Food, which uses IoT to streamline operations and improve food safety and transparency from farm to fork.

 

We are looking for a passionate, outcome-oriented Senior Product Manager - Solutions to join our team to build high-end solutions for our clients.  You should be driven to provide valuable solutions to challenging problems. You will work closely with client stakeholders and an award-winning team of product managers, designers, engineers, architects and thought leaders to design, build and implement next-generation solutions. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-functional teams through hypothesis-driven delivery discipline to ideate and build the right solutions for our customers
  • Identify, validate, and prioritize business problems, buyer and user personas, areas of opportunity through various research and discovery methods
  • Define and execute strategic product initiatives and contribute to product roadmap ownership areas
  • Act as the Product Owner in an Agile Scrum team to represent and understand the client’s business needs, champion the product vision, and motivate the teams to deliver with quality and velocity
  • Elicit, prioritize and document use cases and acceptance criteria
  • Support the Agile delivery team via backlog refinement, sprint planning, and roadmap forecasting
  • Mentor junior product teammates
  • Balance strategic, tactical, and operational work
  • Have the ability to keep up with new creative technologies and analyze new trends and data
  • Build and manage relationships with clients and teammates
  • Contribute to the Solutions Product practice development by participating in industry events, blogging on topics of interest, and holding internal lunch-n-learns

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5-7+ years of product experience, with demonstrated ability working with engineering and design teams
  • Ability to define and execute on product strategy
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications, with experience in presenting and getting consensus from executives and engineers alike
  • Deep experience conducting brainstorming workshops, with market-tested activities for persona development, pain point documentation and use case prioritization
  • Experience leading requirements discovery, definition, and analysis in a product company, agency, consultancy, or other professional setting
  • Experience in hypothesis-driven product outcomes and using data and research to help inform your roadmaps
  • Ability to succeed through ambiguity and create clarity from uncertainty
  • Flexible in a constantly evolving environment with fluctuating demands
  • Ability to balance technical and business issues.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and client-facing presence is a must
  • Experience with Agile and Lean product development principles and practices

 

Preferred Knowledge/Experience: 

  • Hands-on technical product development and delivery experience with cloud, IoT, AI and related technologies
  • Possess strong knowledge of data, BI/analytics, and related technology vendors and ecosystems, and can drive build vs. buy discussions to successful resolution
  • Ability to motivate your team to sprint towards aggressive goals in ways that engenders excitement and ownership.
  • Experience working with hardware or systems integration
  • Food industry experience, including food tech, food supply chain, or working in restaurants or grocery stores

  • Meet the minimum qualifications and requirements of the position
  • Have completed twelve (12) months service in their current position
  • Not be under a disciplinary evaluation or suspension period
  • Have satisfactory performance in their current position
  • Have their current manager/supervisor recommendation
