About the role
As our Client Services Account Manager you will provide supporting service and assistance to customers and the sales team. You will manage all day to day aspects of the customer to ensure customer satisfaction and customer growth. This role will be required to attend training to continuously improve product knowledge and level of service required by customers. The principle accountabilities and responsibilities are intended to directly support the function of the sales team through collaborative and functional business productivity.
Along the way, you will get to:
- Support account managers in providing prompt service to customers
- Provides accessible day to day contact point for customers
- Proactive engagement with customers, account managers and other teammates within Insight
- Act as the first point of contact for defined customers on all enquiries
- Support accounts by processing orders and quotes, answering enquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, credit, catalogue / price list management, & volume licensing questions via phone or email
- Assist in educating the customers about Insight and related services
- Interact with other departments to resolve customer issues
- Respond to customer complaints and involve Client Service Manager in the process of resolving the issue to the satisfaction and benefit of both the customer and Insight
- Attend designated product training seminars and remain knowledgeable of department functions and system technology
- Obtain relevant Vendor certifications as required
- Develop strong working/selling relationship with internal Operations teams and Business Partner Managers.
- Develop relationships with vendor partners
- Complete required tasks that impact the success of Insight at month end
- Proactively manage all processes and customer engagement for Renewals
- Provide collaborative and backup support to all teammates within Client Services
- Understand and deliver to customers agreed SLA’s
- Maintain notes and required information to facilitate uninterrupted customer service

We are looking for a Client Services Account Manager with the following capabilities:
- Strong Customer Service experience in technology (hardware & software) industry – can proactively identify, make decisions and resolve customer issues
- Supply chain experience
- Previous Microsoft Licensing experience is desirable
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision
- Ability to manage work expectations in times of high demand
- Ability to organize, prioritise, and multitask workload, customer expectations, and ad hoc requests
- Ability to determine problem areas and recommend solutions.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Impeccable follow up skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
