As an Architect for Insight you can expect to:

  • Learn: In this role knowledge is power. You will be expected to keep abreast of the software solutions offered by manufacturers and their direct competitors.
  • Be solution focused: You will identify client needs and design a plan and proposal based on the needs. A strong ability to develop solutions based on discovery and needs will be needed for this position. 
  • Be a team player: You will work closely with the sales team. You will work on pre-sale activities such as identifying, qualifying, pricing and delivering services in multiple geographies. You will also assist in identifying potential opportunities and qualify these leads by preparing solution proposals.
  • Be a trusted advisor: You will develop and maintain expertise on the manufacturer's products, programs, competition and the industry. You’ll also provide licensing and product reporting as well as support to Sales as needed to execute on contract management deliverables.

What we’re looking for:

  • Actively participate in and lead the assessment, planning, designing, and implementing of Network and Security solutions including high availability, routing/switching, VPN, security policies and address translation.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the projects including delegation of tasks to other project team members
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems
  • Provide documentation including implementation plans, test plans, migration plans and detailed designs to client upon project completion
  • Provide knowledge transfer and operational documents to the client
  • Conduct user and administrative training for Insight staff to keep team updated on client network changes
  • Take lead in working with service providers to identify and resolve issues, including coordinating repair and/or replacement of managed devices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Implement networking technologies and solutions based on networking designs
  • Advanced troubleshooting of network issues
  • Design network solutions to meet client networking requirements
  • Test network to ensure it is functioning as planned
  • Work with clients to identify business and technical networking requirements
  • Raise incidents and changes following client’s compliancy standards.

 

 

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or demonstrated performance in a technical work environment
  • Growth in technical skills through certifications (CCNP/CCDP/JNCIP/CCIE) or other similar achievements is desired.
