About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Java, and/or Python. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in QA automation, with a proven track record of designing and implementing robust automated test suites. As an Automation Engineer with, you will get to:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks and scripts for business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing throughout the development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor automated test executions, analyze results, debug failures, and document/report defects.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing across complex application landscapes.

What we’re looking for

•  Collaborative team player who works closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to clarify requirements, define test coverage, and ensure high quality releases.
• Solid understanding of QA processes, standards, and quality governance across the software development lifecycle.
• Strong hands-on testing skills in automation scripting, execution, and functional testing.
• Extensive experience with test management and defect tracking tools, particularly JIRA.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles, with practical experience in SAFe Agile environments.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, reusable test automation frameworks.
• Experience with AI-based testing tools, frameworks, or accelerators, leveraging AI to improve test design, execution efficiency, and defect detection (strong plus).

Mandatory Skills

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in more than one language Java, JavaScript, Python for developing and maintaining automation scripts.
• UI Automation: Extensive experience in writing automation scripts for web applications using different tools like selenium, playwright etc.
• API Automation: Solid experience in testing APIs using automation tools (e.g., REST Assured, RestSharp, Postman).
• BDD Cucumber: Proficient in implementing behavior-driven development using Cucumber.
• Test Frameworks: Knowledge of test automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
