The EMEA Legal team focuses on providing clear, accurate, relevant, and timely advice and guidance on a variety of legal topics relating to business sector, products, and services. The team is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements. They manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to Insight’s business. They also connect with and manage third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors, design and deliver legal training to the business, and stay up to date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules, and regulations.

 

  • The Bid Coordinator facilitates the efficient administration of bids, bid reviews, and associated bid documentation.

  • Assist with production of final bid documents and arrangements to supply these documents to the customer within defined tender deadlines.
  • Support Bid team activities around answering and supporting client questionnaires and proposals.
  • Maintain bid tools, including the internal database, ensuring that all appropriate documentation is up to date and controlled.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams, consulting teams and Solution Sales teammates to ensure accurate, appropriate, and engaging information is included in the internal database.
  • To support in suggesting and developing improvements and efficiencies within the tender responses process, continuously delivering high calibre tender responses.
  • Maintain status of generic proposals and work with Bid Manager to ensure they are reviewed, revised, and reapproved, as necessary.
  • To provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Bids & Tenders team and its teammates.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Working towards a recognised qualification -Evidence of continuing professional development 
  • High level of written and spoken English -Fluent in an additional European language
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) -A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator
  • Strong attention to detail and produces highly accurate work -Previous experience of composing written literature and presentations
  • Knowledge of supporting and maintaining work processes -Business acumen to determine if tenders have any level of commercial risk associated with them
  • Ability to communicate credibly and with confidence and ease to both internal and external stakeholders -Ability to assume responsibility for assignments and to perform them in accordance with minimal supervision
