Insight is currently seeking a Systems Engineer with advanced level VMware experience to join our Professional Services Organization. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Server/Data Migration
  • Heath Assessments of customer IT environment
  • Storage/Backup/DR implementations
  • Implement VDI solutions such as VMware Horizon View
  • Implement HCI (Hyperconverged) solutions such as VxRail, HPE Synergy/SimpliVity, Nutanix, Cisco Hyperflex
  • Implement vSAN solutions
  • VMware deployment and upgrades
  • Advise customers on infrastructure best practices
  • Provide customer training
  • Catch all: Implement solutions such as NetApp, VMware, HPE, Dell EMC, VEEAM, Nutanix, Cisco, Citrix, Rubrik, Cohesity, other vendors

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Virtualization Engineering experience
  • Orchestration/Automation vReazlie
  • VDI
  • Engineering and implementation experience with Cisco HyperFlex (HCI)
  • Create UCS templates, assist with infrastructure blade upgrades
  • Experience with UCS implementation and clusters
  • Strong Cisco hardware knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge on VSAN, storage, and networking
  • Knowledge on Linux and Windows operating systems
  • VCP certification highly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
