Tech Development Specialist
Brussels, BE
We’re looking for a Microsoft Technology Development Specialist to help drive software programme and licensing success across Belgium and the wider Northern Europe region (incl. NL, Belgium, Sweden). You’ll work closely with sales and solution teams, advising customers and partners on Microsoft licensing programmes, supporting onboarding, and helping shape joint business plans with Microsoft.
What you’ll do
- Advise customers and internal stakeholders on Microsoft licensing programmes, entitlements, and best-fit options.
- Run scoping and guidance calls; support programme onboarding and adoption.
- Partner closely with sales (internal/external) to progress opportunities and follow up leads.
- Work with solution teams to identify solution opportunities and align licensing to the technical approach.
- Support the creation of joint business plans with Microsoft and help drive execution.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and how licensing enables business development.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., licensing, software programmes, advisory, pre-sales, or solution sales).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing (at least one licensing area in depth).
- Ability to translate licensing complexity into clear, practical guidance for customers and sales teams.
- Track record of working cross-functionally (sales + solutions/technical teams).
- Fluent Dutch and French (French at B2 level or higher).
Nice to have
- Microsoft certifications
- Azure fundamentals (and ideally Associate-level certs).
- Exposure to M365 and Copilot.
- Experience in similar partners/organisations or comparable licensing advisory roles.
- Broader vendor licensing exposure (e.g., AWS, Google) is a plus.
