Endpoint Management Consultant

The Endpoint Management Consultant (“Consultant”) delivers client initiatives for endpoint and workspace solutions (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid) within the Connected Workforce team.  This includes billable consulting services, solution design, deployment, and facilitating the adoption of technology solutions.  The Consultant is a technical, client-facing role that is accountable for solution implementation.

 

Working in conjunction with Solution Architects, and reporting to the Practice Lead, the Consultant fulfills the client engagement delivery and design documentation, as well as implementation deliverables. The successful candidate is a resource who will have experience in a multitude of client implementation roles, participating in design discussions with technical leaders, as well as internal teams.

 

The Consultant works closely with Insight peers to implement solutions based on scoped client business needs. The ideal candidate will show a high degree of passion for enabling technology for client businesses, while constantly looking for ways to elevate themselves and their peers to ever-rising standards.

 

General Requirements

  • Strong documentation skills (Word, PowerPoint and Visio)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Remote work and onsite work is required
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada

 

Required Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in an enterprise IT environment (must have)
  • 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), as well as Azure Resource Manager
  • Experience in support and administration of Microsoft Windows Infrastructures with Azure Active Directory and Windows Active Directory
  • Deep understanding of Windows 7-10 workstations (i.e. registry level) in order to provide troubleshooting/solutioning of system and infrastructure issues
  • Solid understanding of and experience with Mobile Device Management solutions
  • Experience with managing Apple endpoint devices (iOS, Mac) and Apple Business Manager
  • Experience with managing Android endpoint devices and Android Enterprise
  • Experience and good understanding of batch, vbscript and PowerShell scripting in an enterprise production environment

 

Education:

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Information Technology would be an asset
  • Related Technical Certifications (i.e. Windows, Azure, Intune) would be an asset
