We’re looking for a sharp, collaborative and eager Sr. Web Content Strategist & Writer to join our team to support our SEO and content development on insight.com and associated web properties. We’re a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator that works with top brands — including Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, Dell Intel and Cisco.
As a Sr. Web Content Strategist & Writer, you’ll work alongside stakeholders and our internal creative teams to shape web content — aligning our business goals with customer needs. You’ll create engaging and targeted messaging that motivates users to engage with helpful information and user-friendly calls to action. Our ideal candidate is passionate about copy and data, and is able to hunt for new SEO opportunities and strives for winning results through content optimization.

As a Sr. Marketing Specialist – Web Content and Strategy, you will get to:

Serve as a web strategy consultant, working collaboratively with stakeholders to create a content strategy that includes messaging and calls to action aimed at guiding users through the user journey to clearly and effectively communicate the benefits of Insight.

Establish a compelling online presence that effectively communicates our offerings, brand message, engages with clients, drives measurable results, and delivers high-quality, relevant content.

Implement landing page strategies and optimize website content to engage target audiences and achieve business objectives.

Continuously evaluate and enhance content impact by leveraging industry trends, business objectives, SEO research, and client data to educate and inspire clients, boost brand awareness, foster client loyalty, and drive business growth.

Conduct interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather insights on technical topics and create clear user journeys on insight.com. Foster engagement and cultivate relationships with SMEs to enhance the quality of content and user experience on the website.

Collaborate on projects with the broader digital web team, including design, user experience, SEO, paid media, testing and personalization teams to identify and implement strategies to enhance the user experience and define a more cohesive and synergistic experience.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams, mentor and guide junior writers, and establish best practices for insight.com.

Attend meetings to understand projects, products, and solutions, and deliver on objectives.

Implement the Insight brand voice consistently in all content.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
-
At least three years of marketing experience and ability to show examples of copy created for digital marketing

Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong editing skills
-
Interest in technology and how it can impact and improve business performance

Ability to take a complex process or technology and create easy-to-follow copy

Ability to contribute individually and to participate in cross-functional teams

Vast knowledge of AP style, as well as an understanding of technical writing and styles associated with it

Robust knowledge of BrightEdge, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console and other SEO tracking tools

Experience with SEO keyword research and understanding of SEO and in-bound marketing best practices

Understanding of user experience and the ability to ensure the journey is clear, compelling and actionable

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Strong critical-thinking, research and problem-solving skills

Ability to synthesize and incorporate input from different stakeholders to create a final product that represents the best of the collective contributions

Excellent time-management, organization and project management skills, with attention to detail from inception through execution

Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, business, marketing, or other related field
