Insight Public Sector (IPS) is seeking a skilled and experienced SLED Sales Market Leader to join our dynamic team. This leadership role will be responsible for driving sales activities for our expanding K-12 segment within the SLED Public Sector division, with a focus on achieving sales quotas and providing superior customer solutions and satisfaction. The Sales Market Leader must have a proven track record of successful sales management, a talent for motivating and coaching teams, and strong communication skills to foster close relationships with C-level executives and partner organizations.

 

Responsibilities:

- Lead, manage, and motivate a field sales team focused on the SLED K-12 segment

- Develop and execute sales strategy, working closely with account executives and client executives to achieve sales goals

- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers and partners highlighting Insight's value proposition and solutions

- Manage sales team performance, including recruitment, training, and professional development

- Build and maintain strong partner relationships, fostering business growth within the region

- Monitor and maintain accurate sales pipeline through effective territory management

- Drive exponential growth by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing accounts

- Work with Marketing team to develop effective brand awareness campaigns

- Own the top accounts within the territory, driving innovation and solutions

 

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the technology industry with a focus on the SLED K-12 segment

- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales management, specifically managing a sales team

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer focus

- Demonstrated interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills

- Proven experience in managing relationships with C-level executives

- Ability to motivate and coach sales teams towards achieving sales targets

- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with experience in presenting to large audiences

- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
