The Strategic Talent Advisor (STA) is a consultative talent partner within our global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE). This role moves beyond traditional full-cycle recruiting to deliver strategic workforce advisory, proactive talent planning, and data-informed guidance to business leaders.

Operating within a COE model, the Strategic Talent Advisor partners closely with:

  • Dedicated Sourcing Teams who build and manage talent pipelines
  • Global TA Coordinators who execute offer, pre-employment, and onboarding activities
  • Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to align hiring strategies with business priorities

The STA is accountable for owning the hiring strategy, stakeholder partnership, and decision quality, while leveraging COE resources to execute efficiently at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Talent Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders, aligning talent strategies to business goals, workforce plans, and market realities
  • Lead structured intake and recalibration conversations to validate role requirements, hiring assumptions, and success profiles
  • Provide ongoing guidance on market trends, talent availability, compensation considerations, and hiring risks

Hiring Strategy Ownership

  • Develop and own end-to-end hiring strategies, including role prioritization, target profiles, and pipeline approach
  • Translate business needs into clear sourcing direction for dedicated sourcing partners
  • Continuously assess pipeline health, funnel movement, and time-in-stage trends to proactively adjust strategy

Data-Driven Advisory

  • Leverage dashboards, talent insights, and hiring data to inform recommendations and drive timely decisions
  • Present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders related to candidate quality, hiring velocity, and search challenges

Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience

  • Ensure a high-touch, white-glove experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the process
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for candidate progress, feedback quality, and decision cadence
  • Partner with Global TA Coordinators to ensure seamless offer execution, pre-employment activities, and onboarding

COE Collaboration & Enablement

  • Work in close partnership with sourcing, coordination, and TA leadership teams to ensure consistency and scalability across regions
  • Contribute to COE initiatives including process optimization, hiring manager enablement, and best-practice standardization
  • Support continuous improvement efforts through feedback, experimentation, and adoption of TA technology and AI-enabled tools

The Strategic Talent Advisor owns the strategy, partnership, and outcomes, while leveraging COE partners for execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in high volume recruiting
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior stakeholders in a consultative capacity
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate hiring needs into strategic talent solutions
  • Experience operating in a COE, shared services, or global TA model preferred
  • Comfortable using data, dashboards, and market insights to influence decision-making
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Quality and clarity of hiring strategy and stakeholder alignment
  • Time-to-fill and candidate quality outcomes driven by proactive planning
  • Hiring manager satisfaction and trust-based partnerships
  • Strong partnerships with sourcing and coordination COE resources
  • Consistent delivery of a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience
  • 100% compliance with utilizing out tools (CRM, ATS, Reporting, Market Scans etc)
