Role and Responsibilities:
The IT Site Administrator for the M&A initiatives will be responsible for resolving client issues and
assisting clients with their IT needs. Field Support, similar to the Help Desk, is the face of IT to
our end users and must demonstrate a sense of urgency, understanding, and professionalism.
This position ensures that end-user needs associated with Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures
are met promptly, adhering to and delivering defined SLAs. The IT Site Administrator is also
responsible for working with other IT resources within a support model capable of providing proper
plant support for technology needs, ensuring manufacturing and office needs are met, with a
broader regional team focus. The IT Site Administrator supports multiple sites and business lines.
Candidates for this position must travel to various M&A site locations in the Western Region.

 

Essential Duties:
Monitor Ivanti ticketing queue to action tickets and escalate as needed to ensure issues
are being appropriately addressed and within established SLAs
Delivery of end-user support, understanding needs and acting appropriate
Build positive relationships with customers
Provide white-glove service where necessary
Create and enhance support documentation, including end-user SOPs
Focus on end-user self-help knowledge base to enhance the effectiveness of the team
Participate in 24x7 support model and escalation process
Assist fellow IT Field support staff where needed
Safeguard company data through appropriate endpoint security
Provide general and M&A IT infrastructure, software and system support to end users
through telephone, remote desktop support, and in person
Provide support for Office 365 applications
Ensure issues are correctly logged in service management tools
Escalate issues promptly to the appropriate technical team to avoid business impact
Perform IT-related administration functions including, but not limited to, the following:
o IT procurement within organizational guidelines
o manage IT equipment inventory
o account administration
o administer and participate in special projects as requested
Install new software and maintain and/or upgrade existing software
Evaluate and replace or repair hardware as instructed by the respective team/vendor
Install and configure new hardware
Own communication within the region and resolve fundamental communication issues
Maintain procedures and solution documentation related to issues
Perform M&A and other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:
Associate degree in Computer Science, Networking, or closely related field (preferred)
2+ years' experience in IT Support
Relevant experience in M&A desired
Previous experience working with PC, network and/or telephony support
Outstanding organizational skills with good written skills and verbal skills
Extensive knowledge of computer hardware
Extensive knowledge of desktop software, including MS Office and Windows OS
Working knowledge of Network topologies, protocols and enterprise network equipment
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Ability to provide after-hours support when required
High proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
