Associate Solutions Executive

Associate Solutions Executive’s serve as an integral point of contact between our business and prospective clients. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) educating new and existing customers with information and assistance that relates to products and services.

 

At Insight, we value all our Teammates. We’re seeking a qualified Associate Solutions Executive to assist the Client Solutions Director (CSD) in proposal work and creation of Statement of Work (SOW). The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong presentation and organizational skills. Often tasked with creating PowerPoint presentations and attending Client and non-Client meetings and events, it’s essential that our Associate Solutions Executive be personable and professional.

 

Objectives of this Role

• Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding of our solutions/offerings, as well as the benefits of how these solutions meet the needs of our customers

• Support and manage client accounts and drive the full sales cycle, from initial contact to close

• Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics

• Build relationships and organize daily work schedule to call on existing or potential opportunities

 

Responsibilities

• Support the CSD and services sales teams in their day-to-day activities

• Ensure effective coordination and support between account teams and supporting technical teammates

• Develop and close solution sales opportunities

• Forecast and develop business reporting along with on-going sales pipeline management reporting and updating (close dates, revenue, GP, description /Line of Business (LOB) context, probability status, etc.)

• Understand Insight’s service offerings and delivery capabilities, as well as success stories relevant to a particular client situation

• Develop professional proposals/presentation material and Statements of Work

• Prepare documents for securing a deal, including Statements of Work, Purchase Order, and Pricing Model; create other documentation for executive-level presentations

• Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new opportunities

• Work with the Sales Team to generate leads for new clients

• Manage accuracy of weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline/forecast reports

• Coordinate with other Solutions Representatives to ensure company quotas and standards are being met

• Achieve annual bookings quota and maintain excellent client feedback

 

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.

• Excellent written, verbal, and formal presentation skills

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Personal integrity

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Ability to travel at least 25% of the time Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or exposure to sales environment

• Familiarity or experience with IT services industry

• Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism

• Strong ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions

• Proficiency with sales management software (such as Salesforce)
