Salary: $170,000 annually + variable bonus

About the role

The Sr Mgr IT is responsible for the direct supervision of an agile scrum team, made up of analysts, developers and support engineers. The Sr Mgr IT is responsible for managing and defining a product roadmap and ensuring deliverables are scoped and deployed in a timely manner and according to published team standards.  The Sr Mgr IT is responsible for introducing and maintaining highly repeatable and reliable processes, as well as supporting standards and for establishing and leading highly performing, appropriately skilled technical delivery teams.  This individual is a mentor to technical managers within the department assisting in development of technical disciplines, as well as general management skills.  Along the way, you will get to: 

• Responsible for supervision and coordination of all technical staff within their area of responsibility. 
• Responsible for contract lifecycle management products and the delivery to a business-driven roadmap. 
• Responsible for building a collaborative relationship with business leadership and the user community to create a product roadmap that delivers to business requirements. 
• Participates in cross functional architecture, design and development efforts to ensure optimal end to end solutions driving business value. 
• Fosters the technical “community” concept, defining disciplines and collaborative standards. 
• Provides mentoring and career planning and promotes employee satisfaction. 
• Defines and promotes standards for design, coding, testing, deployment to Production. 
• Defines and ensures compliance to standards for building systems and configuring operating systems.

What we’re looking for

• BA/BS degree required, Master’s degree is a plus.   

• Minimum of 12 years IT software delivery experience, leading and/or managing teams. 

• Minimum of 10 years technical experience in the relevant disciplines delivering to a product roadmap 

• Strong understanding of converting business needs to software delivery 

• Strong understanding of industry-standard technical practices and emerging technologies 

• Able to perform well in a multi-tasking environment 

• Strong managerial and supervisory skills
