Sr. Manager, Corporate Development

Insight’s Corporate Development team is a small, specialized group of deal professionals that sources, evaluates, executes and integrates acquisitions as well as leads broader strategic initiatives across all of Insight’s business groups globally. The team interacts regularly with Insight’s senior leadership, including frequent discussions with the company’s CEO and CFO. The team is looking for highly motivated M&A professionals with a passion for technology who can immediately add value. This role will be remotely based in the US.

 

What you’ll do at Insight

  • Enable Insight’s growth strategy by supporting all aspects of the M&A process including target screening and evaluation, financial modeling and analysis, valuation and deal structuring, due diligence and execution
  • Partner with business units in the development and execution of their strategic acquisition plans
  • Actively identify, source, screen and drive ongoing engagement with acquisition prospects
  • Develop data-driven analyses and apply business and financial acumen to develop business cases for acquisition
  • Provides strategic and planning guidance for all M&A related functions
  • Quarterback cross-functional due diligence, working with legal, finance, HR and other internal teams and coordinate post-close integration planning
  • Create executive-level presentation and communication materials
  • Interface with external ecosystem of investment banking, venture capital and startup communities
  • Manage a team of corporate development associates

 

What you’ll need to join Insight

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering; MBA highly desired
  • 10+ years investment banking, corporate development, transaction advisory services, venture capital or private equity
  • Experience managing and coaching a team of direct reports
  • Experience in merger and acquisition transactions in the technology sector is strongly preferred
  • Ideal candidates will be self-starters with strong financial analysis and valuation skills, due diligence experience and the ability to collaborate across multiple groups in an evolving environment
  • Organized, self-starter with attention to detail and excellent written communication and presentation skills

The base salary range for this position is typically $150,000 tp $180,000  with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
