Location: This is a hybrid opportunity based in Chicago, IL. 

Compensation: There is a base plus commissions component tied to this role at market value.

About the role 

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) – Dell Alliance, you will drive revenue growth by expanding strategic customer relationships and accelerating Dell-aligned solutions across targeted accounts. We will count on you to partner closely with sales, engineering, and the Dell ecosystem to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and build sustainable pipeline. Along the way, you will get to: 

  • Develop and execute account and territory plans, including forecasting, targets, and pipeline strategy. 

  • Identify and qualify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and whitespace across Dell-aligned solutions. 

  • Engage customers and partner stakeholders through executive briefings, QBRs, presentations, and industry/partner events. 

  • Drive expansion revenue through cross-sell/upsell motions and enable internal teams through coordination and training.

What we’re looking for 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in customer-facing sales, business development, or partner management. 

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally (sales, engineering, marketing, and leadership) to deliver results. 

  • Experience navigating complex buying cycles, procurement processes, and executive-level stakeholder engagement. 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with technical aptitude to articulate solution value and business outcomes.
