About the role
The Market Development Executive (MDE) is responsible for selling Insight’s analytics solutions to clients across various industries. The MDE will partner closely with Analytics Services Leadership to build an Analytics client growth strategy for new and existing services clients.
As a Market Development Executive you will:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in specialty areas of the Service Line
- Build relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations
- Define and execute technical account growth strategy in partnership with Services delivery
- Identify new opportunities for specialty solutions and services
- Develop customized proposals and presentations along with Services Delivery
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and close
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction
- Develop executive client trusted relationships relative to technical area of expertise
- Provide regular updates to management on sales progress and pipeline development
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in sales, preferably in analytics or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of analytics solutions and services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
