 We are seeking a Sr Windows Desktop Engineer to join our team for a W2 contract that possesses the following skills.

Highlights:

• Onsite in Chicago 60601
• $80-$90.00 hourly/W2/6 month contract
• M-F 8-5 pm 
• Vaccination required
• Experience with desktop security, VPN, and hardware profiles
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Windows 10 (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, support, etc.) and desktop applications.
• Knowledge and Experience with Office 365
• Good understanding of the OSI model  

Job Responsibilities:

• At least 7 years of relevant IT experience.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Windows 10 (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, support, etc.) and desktop applications.
• Good knowledge and experience with various Hardware and peripherals, including laptops, laptop docks, printers, scanners, etc..
• Experience with desktop security, vpn, hardware profiles, etc..
• Good understanding of the OSI model & desktop technology stack, including an understanding of VPN based connectivity & traffic flow.
• Knowledge and Experience with Office including Office 365.
• Experience troubleshooting AD group policy related issues at the desktop (conflicting policies, required settings not applied, etc.).
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of and adherence to Change Management processes.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player
• Show flexibility under changing conditions
• Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal
• Knowledge & experience with ZScaler ZPA & ZIA (desktop client & connectivity) are a plus.

Nice to have:

• Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Macintosh laptops & OS are a plus.
