Client Success Manager

Position Overview

The Cloud Engagement Manager (CEM) is responsible for leading client interaction and engagement within CDCT Managed Services for our Managed Cloud customers.

The CEM works jointly with the Managed Services AOTs (Assigned Operational Teams) to manage the steady state relationship of the client to CDCT Managed Services. While the AOT leads in technical activity, the CEM supports the business relationship with the client. Among the activities associated with the CEM role are regularly scheduled reviews to discuss Cloud consumption and utilization, billing, identifying opportunities for the client to optimize their cloud environment, their long term goals and how Insight can assist in reaching them, adjustments to current contracts between the client and CDCT Managed Services via Change Requests, and driving the completion of consulting and other activities/projects by the AOT that are in support of the client and within the scope of Managed Services.

The optimal candidate for this role will be the person who wants to “own” the relationships with the clients. The candidate should be motivated to drive the client and Insight to build a solid, long lasting relationship which benefits both parties, ensuring the clients’ satisfaction with Managed Cloud Services and the profitability of Insight in providing those services.

What you’ll do at Insight

  • Operate as a point of contact for CDCT Managed Cloud clients.
  • Research, analyze, record, communicate, and resolve client escalations and concerns.
  • Create and manage client action plans in conjunction with internal teammates and leadership.
  • Create and manage client success plans with the client and internal leadership.
  • Collect, analyze, and present metrics and other success factors to clients and Insight leadership.
  • Provide recommendations to clients on Cloud consumption, optimization opportunities, and other metrics that drive adoption and foster expansion opportunities.
  • Understand Insight’s Managed Cloud offerings, policies, and procedures supporting operations.
  • Recommend process improvements within client environments, as well as within Insight.
  • Monitor internal operations to assure established processes, policies, and procedures are followed, timelines are met and actions are taken to promote client success.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to join Insight

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT industry experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships.
  • Experience and/or training in Cloud technology, either Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Project Management experience helpful.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; attention to details.
  • Must be able to work independently, exercise discretion and independent judgement.
