HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner in our Lewis Center facility will act as a trusted advisor; proactively engaging with business leaders to influence and positively impact the organization by identifying resources and formulating/presenting actionable recommendations for the business. This position will provide on-site teammate support, and also support a smaller warehouse in Worthington.  In addition this HRBP will partner with leaders on coaching, people management/development, organization structure, compensation and teammate engagement. Additionally, key responsibilities will include partnerships with relevant HR Centers of Excellence, who are subject matter experts in Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Talent & Organizational Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Recruiting and Payroll. This role will also have a heavy emphasis on employee relations, in a matrixed organization, and will also be assisting with worker compensation and safety programs for the company.


 What you will do at Insight:

 

 

  • Proactively engage, support and work with business teams and leaders to understand the current and future business goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiative. Assist in delivering strategy through workforce planning and organization design and structure.
  • Constructively challenge conventional thinking and have the courage to make recommendations that mitigates risk to the business
  • Be an effective change agent in an environment of rapid innovation and continuous improvement
  • Partner with business leaders to develop programs and initiatives, which help educate and reinforce Insight’s culture with teammates
  • Possess analytical skills and ability to present solutions to issues in a concise manner
  • Assist with workers compensation and safety programs  across the U.S.
  • Proven success in implementing core talent management and development processes
  • Demonstrated ability to execute quickly, effectively and consistently, while maintaining agility and flexibility
  • Demonstrated success in building strong credibility and working relationships with client groups at all levels of teammates (individual contributors up through executive management) 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills 

 
What you need to join Insight:
 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, HR or related field
  • PHR or SPHR, or SHRM CP or SCP preferred
  • 5-10  years of experience, in a HR Manager capacity, to include:
    • Employee Relations
    • Talent Engagement and Development
    • Workers Compensation
    • Compensation
    • HRIS and Data Analytics
    • Benefits and Leaves of Absence/ADA
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects through full lifecycle (design, develop, implement) and deliver impactful results
  • Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to analyze metrics
  • Ability to travel to other geographic sites as needed – travel 5-10%
