Desktop Support Engineer

By joining Insight Enterprises as a Desktop Engineer, you will enter a tech-savvy and highly collaborative world.  We provide the hardware, software and support-services for our customers' most critical IT projects.  As part of a larger project, we have an immediate need for a Desktop Engineer to provide support to 5 different locations in the NY/NJ area. 

 

Please note, this will be an on-site position, but the location will change between sites in NY and NJ.  The duration for the contract portion is funded for 6 months, but there is a possibility for this to extend.  Expected compensation is $32-$37/hr on our W2.  We are not able to sponsor for this role

 

What you will be doing:

  • Windows upgrade support
  • Request processing in ServiceNow
  • Windows troubleshooting
  • Project Coordination
  • Ad hoc requests typical of an IT Support Professional

 

What you need to join:

  • Must have ticketing system experience, preferably ServiceNow
  • Must have experience using Active Directory and SCCM
  • Must have experience with Windows 10 and O365, hardware upgrades, and printer troubleshooting
  • Must be able to troubleshoot software and hardware issues
  • Ability to support 5 locations in/around NY/NJ
