Location: Detroit Michigan Area  

Full-Time/Part-Time:  Full-Time  (FTE)

Shift:  First, M-F, On-Call 1 week per month

We have a need for a Systems Administrator with experience to provide operational support for our key Michigan customers in the Detroit area that ideally has a solid blend between administrative and strong technical skills.

You will be required to provide technical expertise within a team atmosphere and provide input as needed to the customer within a dynamic fast paced environment.  This position will be required to fulfill on-call support duties on a rotating basis.

 Position Requirements:

 The candidate must have mid-level experience (2 to 5 years) and some of the below Industry Certifications and hands-on experience:

  • Microsoft Patching
  • Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019 administration experience
  • VMWare vSphere 6.x/7 Administration experience is preferred
  • Dell Compellent SAN administration and support
  • Microsoft Identity Management/AD/A Administration
  • Microsoft SCCM familiarity
  • Microsoft Office365 Administration
  • Veeam Backup and Replication monitoring and administration  
  • Hardware Troubleshooting/Problem Management experience with Servers/Storage – Dell preferred.
  • Troubleshooting IP Network issues and some familiarity with Cisco Switching and Routing as well as WLAN support.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following industry or manufacturer certifications;
    • CompTIA Server +
    • CompTIA Network +
    • CompTIA Security +
    • Microsoft MCSA or similar is preferred
    • Microsoft O365 Certification
