Insight’s sales teams are collectively responsible for growing and maintaining business relationships across a range of clients. The sales teammates targets are to achieve growth and develop and maintain strategic client relationships based on trust, in order to earn client loyalty and achieve mutual success through the effective building of close partnerships.

The Executive Account Manager is held accountable and responsible for maintaining long-term strategic relationships across a portfolio of client accounts including creating, developing, and executing against accurate plans and forecasts. The Executive Account Manager works in close partnership with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders and collaborates closely with inside sales teammates and virtual account teams in order to manage demand generation and deliver the most effective value- added solutions and services to Insight’s clients. Their ultimate goal is to manage and transform businesses and embed Insight as the preferred partner of choice with clients through the early engagement, whilst maximising revenue and profit opportunities.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage strategic business relationships across a portfolio of client accounts and engage with clients through face-to-face activities and demonstrations in order to position Insight as a partner of choice.
  • Develop and maintain an annual business plan for the assigned portfolio in order to drive new business opportunities and recurring revenue streams based on a deep understanding of

Insight’s key clients’ needs and objectives.

  • Identify opportunities to cross sell and up sell Insight ’s services and solutions in order to generate additional revenue and provide added value to the client.
  • Accountable for the achievement of revenue and profit-based targets, builds and maintains accurate weekly reporting of the pipeline, forecast, and activities.
  • Promote new ideas and solutions to Insight’s clients and proactively engage with cross functional internal stakeholders to help support and manage client needs.
  • Agree upon, create, and implement against a strategic account plan for each client in the portfolio based upon client pain points and subsequent business goals.
  • Conducts frequent strategic reviews of progress against client account plans and proactively put in place corrective activity for plans that are off track.
  • Own the procurement and tender/bid engagement across their assigned portfolio.
  • Teach, train, coach, and mentor Inside Account Managers and other sales teammates in order to promote teammate satisfaction and enable career progression.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Essential Desirable

  • Must have experience within Technology and Higher Education.
  • Considerable consultative and sales Educated to degree level or can demonstrate experience in technology (services or equivalent work experience software) with evidence of prior success and consistent overachievement against targets
  • High level of written and spoken English A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite Demonstrates a deep understanding of Insight’s
  • (Outlook, Excel, and Word) solution offerings and Microsoft Technologies
  • A self -developer, acts as a role model, invests Ability to provide effective leadership, build time in their own development and positive team spirit and inspire, motivate, and encourages others support teammates
  • Demonstrates the ability to prospect and Holds relevant professional qualification and or manage senior level relationships including c- accreditation (such as Sales Methodology level, within the target client size, in a mature Certification) and credible manner
  • Extensive client facing sales experience, able Exceptional communication and interpersonal to win client confidence and deliver client skills, both informally and formally, with a strong demonstrations with professional authority ability to connect with and influence others and ease
  • Demonstrates knowledge of modern business Demonstrates the ability to deal with ambiguity processes and trends and the impact of effectively and a high level of resilience when leading-edge IT solutions dealing with setbacks and challenges
  • A desire to learn more, develop Experience of working within a globally diverse professionally, and stay up to date with new environment, showing an understanding of and technologies and advancements keen interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion
