Director of Ecommerce -  EMEA

 

We are currently recruiting for a Director of Ecommerce who will be responsible for managing and growing the eCommerce client relationships while ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experience. This role will be responsible for managing and growing the Commerce client relationships while ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experience. The role will be responsible for ecommerce business strategy, best practices and development and building a strong user experience that drives revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and develop the eCommerce team, to promote teammate satisfaction through mentoring, development, and career planning; creating a high-performing team with a strong succession benchmark, enabling career progression.

  • Provide clear and concise leadership to a team of eCommerce professionals.

  • Develop and execute eCommerce strategies in partnership with clients to drive revenue growth and profitability. Foster and cultivate strong relationships with clients to gain a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with the eCommerce team to ensure the delivery of exceptional eCommerce projects that meet our clients' expectations.

  • Develop new business opportunities through highly effective lead generation strategies and campaigns. These campaigns must have clearly defined metrics in order to measure and continuously improve their efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Monitor web sales metrics and goals to understand account executive performance and assess opportunities to pivot/adjust to drive optimal results

  • Partner with department leaders to gain understanding of business goals and establish shared objectives and action plans to meet those outcomes

  • Work closely with clients to identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and boost customer engagement.

  • Create, manage, and monitor project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure project delivery within scope

Qualifications: Essential:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent work experience.

  • Extensive people management experience; experience of creating clear vision and strategy, and acts as a role model whilst demonstrating strong ethics and integrity.

  • Experience driving growth in an eCommerce program with a deep technical understanding to develop and implement eCommerce strategies.

  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build partnerships and consensus.

  • Experience of working at a senior level, ability to influence and advice on policy and strategy.

  • Exceptional organization skills and experience delivering multiple complex projects.

 

Desirable:

  • Membership of a professional body and/or recognized professional marketing certification.

  • Experience working in a globally diverse environment, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.

  • Demonstrated success in enhancing organizational reputation and delivering cost reductions while improving services
