Services Business Development Specialist

The Business Development Specialist ultimately helps drive Insight's revenue by uncovering, nurturing and qualifying opportunities at target and white space accounts, setting phone and face-to-face appointments for Insight account reps and following up on various lead activity.

 

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with field sales and marketing teams to identify prospects and target accounts
  • Reach out through various channels (phone, email, etc) to IT decision makers identified through marketing programs or by field sales representatives
  • Follow up on inbound leads and inquiries
  • Introduce Insight and discuss the CDCT solution area value proposition.
  • Uncover and understand client and prospect needs
  • Nurture and qualify opportunities
  • Uncover and drive interest in CDCT solutions and services
  • Understand your target audience and their pain points and target them with relevant messaging and content
  • Prioritize opportunities by decision making time frame & buying stage
  • Secure face-to-face or phone meetings (appointments) for sales teams
  • Track and follow results of appointments set
  • Complete monthly production reports
  • Assist with determining ROI of marketing campaigns and business development efforts

 

What we need:

  • BS/BA in relevant field
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Excellent phone and communication skills
  • Ability to grasp technical topics 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with broad range of technical people 
  • Familiar with MS Office, Outlook and customer relationship management applications
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage and track multiple campaigns with various stakeholders
  • Able to multi-task; Self driven; Tenacious.
