Role:

Our Client is currently seeking an experienced #800750 DCS Specialist (Contract) for a 4 months contract in Fort McMurray, AB (On Site) starting in Oct 2021. There is a strong possibility of extensions at the client’s discretion. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience working with Honeywell DCS control systems, and configuring/maintaining industrial control/automation systems. Experience with EHPM and ELCN is required. Previous experience with Experion LX (PKS), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and administration of VMware servers would be a great asset. All candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of experience working with Honeywell DCS control system is required.
  • Experience with EHPM and ELCN is required.
  • Experience with configuring and maintaining industrial control and automation systems.
  • Experience with user and domain security administration.
  • Knowledge of Honeywell Experion LX (PKS) would be an asset.
  • Previous experience with installation and administration of VMware server would be an asset.
  • Previous experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) would be an asset.
  • Oil Sand industry working experience would be an asset.
  • Currently living in Fort McMurray or willing to relocate is required.
  • Education (Nice to have):
    • Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
    • Honeywell Certified Associate (HCA) or similar certifications.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
