Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Windows 11 Architect to assist in the strategy, planning, and design of a Windows 11 migration initiative. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in planning and designing Windows 11 deployments for large user bases, specifically having supported a rollout to 400+ users.
Responsibilities:
• Design and Architecture: Develop comprehensive architectural plans for Windows 11 deployment tailored to the organization's needs.
• System Integration: Ensure compatibility and integration with existing IT infrastructure, applications, and systems.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure optimal system performance post-deployment.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the deployment process, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and user guides.
• Training and Mentorship: Train IT staff and end-users on new features and functionalities of Windows 11; mentor junior team members in best practices.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that the deployment adheres to all relevant security standards and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT architecture and deployment, with recent experience in planning and designing a Windows 11 deployment to 400+ users.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 11, AutoPilot, Intune, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related Microsoft technologies; strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex deployment projects.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or similar, considered and asset.
