Exchange Administrator - Remote

By joining Insight Enterprises as an Exchange Support Admin, you will enter a tech-savvy and highly collaborative world.  We provide the hardware, software and support-services for our customers' most critical IT projects.  We have an immediate opportunity for an Exchange Admin to join these efforts on a remote basis with a technology manufacturing customer of ours as we help them move from on-prem to a cloud-based environment. 


Please note, this will be a fully remote position, with a target compensation of $70/hr on our W2.  The expected duration on this role is 3-months..


What you will be doing:

  • Assist with the day to day administration, support, maintenance and updates to the Exchange (on premise) & Exchange Online environment.
  • Migrate 30,000 mailboxes.
  • Troubleshoot & help triage outages & issues.


What you need to join:

  • At least 5 years of Microsoft Exchange on premise & online experience, administering, configuring, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange, including Server roles, DAGs, client\end-point connectivity, etc..
  • Good understanding of Active Directory including users, groups, multi-factor authentication, etc.
  • Good understanding and experience with Office 365 (ideally O365 Pro plus).
  • Experience working with the Help Desk and serving as an escalation point.
  • Ability to provide afterhours support for escalations as necessary.
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals
  • Good understanding of and ability to follow the change management process and best practices.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills, both oral & written.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
