Executive Account Manager (Cloud Channel)

Insight are seeking an Executive Account Manager to join our Global sales team. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team that typically covers the UK arms of large global and pan-European accounts.

You will be working to support customers with strategic solutions and services requirements, as well as driving net new sales and business development into target customers. Your objective will be to champion solutions and services within all prospects whilst identifying, managing and closing opportunities across the global sector.

 

Main duties:  

  • Executing against territory plans for the customer base, consisting of ISVs (Independant Software Vendors) and IT service providers
  • Focus on SaaS-prospects, from existing ISVs to startups or scale-ups (with a focus on Microsoft Azure)
  • Developing relationships within our current accounts 
  • Productive collaboration with cross‐functional, virtual teams to support solution sales and inside account managers 
  • Building relationships with key and emerging technology partners (Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Veeam, Acronis, …)
  • Engaging with virtual teams to help support and manage demand generation 
  • Client retention and driving new business opportunities 
  • Working to revenue and profit based targets (team or individual based) 
  • Managing and maintaining an accurate system-based sales pipeline 
  • Support the production and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual profit-based forecasts 
  • Regularly visit or lead calls with clients
  • Follow-up on sales pipeline, as well as service-delivery 

 

Skills required:  

  • Proven consultative approach and sales experience in technology (hardware, services or software) with evidence of achieving and exceeding sales targets 
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and develop strong professional relationships with Clients 
  • Basic understanding of contracts, Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) and the ability to negotiate standard and non-standard T&Cs 
  • A team player who can work successfully within a diverse team in a mutually supportive way, including technical and sales teammates in multiple/virtual locations
  • Experience in a customer facing role previously with strong customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Office, etc)
  • Languages required: English, Dutch and/or French
