Executive Account Manager
The Executive Account Manager is held accountable and responsible for maintaining long-term strategic relationships across a portfolio of client accounts including creating, developing, and executing against accurate plans and forecasts.
The Executive Account Manager works in close partnership with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders and collaborates closely with inside sales teammates and virtual account teams in order to manage demand generation and deliver the most effective value-added solutions and services to Insight’s clients. Their ultimate goal is to manage and transform businesses and embed Insight as the preferred partner of choice with clients through the early engagement, whilst maximising revenue and profit opportunities.
Location:
The position is based in the Netherlands, main office location is Apeldoorn. Possibility for hybrid working, remote with occasional visits to the office and client sites.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage strategic business relationships across a portfolio of client accounts and engage with clients through face-to-face activities and demonstrations in order to position Insight as a partner of choice.
- Develop and maintain an annual business plan for the assigned portfolio in order to drive new business opportunities and recurring revenue streams based on a deep understanding of Insight’s key clients’ needs and objectives.
- Identify opportunities to cross sell and upsell Insight’s services and solutions in order to generate additional revenue and provide added value to the client.
- Accountable for the achievement of revenue and profit-based targets, builds and maintains accurate weekly reporting of the pipeline, forecast, and activities.
- Agree upon, create, and implement against a strategic account plan for each client in the portfolio based upon client pain points and subsequent business goals.
Skills & Experience:
- Considerable consultative and sales experience in technology (services or software) with evidence of prior success and consistent overachievement against targets.
- Demonstrates the ability to prospect and manage senior level relationships including c-level, within the target client size, in a mature and credible manner.
- Extensive client facing sales experience, able to win client confidence and deliver client demonstrations with professional authority and ease.
- Demonstrates knowledge of modern business processes and trends and the impact of leading-edge IT solutions.
