We are currently seeking an Experienced Executive Account Manager (EAM) to join our highly successful and client focused public sector sales team. The EAM will be responsible for our Microsoft Surface and Microsoft HoloLens products and will work with our existing customers within the public sector to sell the unique benefits of Surface and HoloLens.


Key Accountabilities…

  • Manage strategic business relationships across a portfolio of client accounts and engage with clients through face-to-face activities and demonstrations in order to position Insight as a partner of choice.
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell and upsell Insight’s services and solutions in order to generate additional revenue and provide added value to the client.
  • Maintain knowledge on Microsoft Surface and HoloLens through vendor and Insight training to effectively act as a product specialist for internal and external partners.
  • Remain accountable for the achievement of revenue and profit-based targets, builds and maintains accurate weekly reporting of the pipeline, forecast, and activities.
  • Agree upon, create, and implement against a strategic account plan for each client in the portfolio based upon client pain points and subsequent business goals.
  • Own the procurement and tender/bid engagement across their assigned portfolio.
  • Teach, train, coach, and mentor Inside Account Managers and other sales teammates in order to promote teammate satisfaction and enable career progression.


Who you are…

  • Experienced consultative and sales in technology (services, software or hardware) with evidence of prior success and consistent overachievement against targets.
  • Extensive client facing sales experience, able to win client confidence and deliver client demonstrations with professional authority and ease.
  • Previous experience in either a sales or technical setting with either Microsoft Surface or Microsoft HoloLens.
  • A self-developer, acts as a role model, invests time in their own development and encourages others.
  • Previous experience and understanding of selling into the public sector would be desirable.
