Executive Account Manager (EAM) - Central Government Sales Team

Hybrid – Uxbridge

 

 

Insight is actively seeking a seasoned Executive Account Manager who demonstrates exceptional leadership skills to drive strategic engagements and cultivate influential relationships at the highest level to join our Central Government Sales team to manage relationships and drive growth across our Ministry of Defence customers. 

 

 

As an EAM, you'll support customers with strategic solutions and service requirements, as well as driving net new sales and business development into target customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining long-term strategic relationships including creating, developing and executing against accurate plans and forecasts. Working in close partnership with a broad range of stakeholders and collaborating closely with inside sales teams you’ll manage demand generation and deliver the most effective value-added solutions and services to Insights clients.

 

The ultimate goal is to manage and transform businesses and embed Insight as the preferred partner of choice with clients through early engagement, whilst maximising revenue and growth opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within central government organisations.
  • Solution Selling: Utilise your deep understanding of our product offerings to effectively articulate value propositions and guide clients through the sales process, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling while staying abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Thought Leadership: Position yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the public sector space, leveraging your expertise to provide insights and guidance that drive positive outcomes for clients.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions to public sector or government clients, (ideally MOD) with a track record of exceeding sales targets and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and develop effective sales strategies that drive business growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the public sector landscape, including regulatory frameworks and procurement processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a passion for working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, driving collective success through teamwork and shared goals.
