Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid 2-3 days in office)

Insight is looking for an exceptional Executive Account Manager to join our Public Sector Sales Team, focusing on our Central Government vertical.

About the Role:

As an Executive Account Manager at Insight, you'll be at the forefront of fostering and maintaining strategic relationships with a portfolio of key client accounts. Your mission is to manage and transform businesses, embedding Insight as the preferred partner through early engagement and maximising revenue and profit opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain strong business relationships across your client portfolio. Engage with clients through face-to-face activities and demonstrations, positioning Insight as their go-to partner.
  • Develop and execute an annual business plan tailored to your portfolio, driving new business opportunities and recurring revenue streams based on an in-depth understanding of our clients' needs and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Insight’s services and solutions, generating additional revenue and delivering added value to clients.
  • Achieve revenue and profit targets, maintaining accurate weekly reports on pipeline, forecasts, and activities.
  • Introduce new ideas and solutions to clients, collaborating with internal stakeholders to support and address client needs effectively.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans for each client, aligned with their pain points and business goals.
  • Conduct regular strategic reviews of client account plans, proactively implementing corrective actions for plans that are off track.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or a related role within the public sector or similar environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • A track record of achieving revenue and profit targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for driving client success and delivering value-added solutions.
