Get ready to rev your engines because as an Installation Technician, you'll work face-to-face with customers to roll out cutting-edge 12-volt technology solutions in their fleet vehicles! Your role is crucial in ensuring that businesses stay ahead of the competition by providing top-notch installations while delivering exceptional customer service!  

 

Key Responsibilities  

  

  • Deploy 12-volt technology solutions in fleet vehicles. 

  • Complete necessary client hardware & software installation training. 

  • Provide own tools (e.g., wrenches, sockets, wire cutters/strippers, portable soldering iron, portable drill.) 

  • Demonstrate troubleshooting skills, including use of a multimeter. 

  • Expertise in safely working with vehicle electrical systems and 12-volt technology. 

  • Flawless execution of proper wiring soldering and crimping techniques. 

  • Highly skilled in network cabling and network devices (basic networking principles) 

  • Cradle point router or equivalent configuration knowledge preferred. 

  • Extensive experience in car, SUV, or RV/Camper-related work. 

  • Valid means of reliable personal transportation required. 

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  

 

What you’ll need to succeed 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard; reach, stoop and kneel. 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. 

  • Light to moderate lifting is required up to 50 pounds. 

  • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling. 

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
