Services Technician Sr

Position Overview
We are looking for a Sr. Desktop Support Technician to work in a dynamic environment providing direct support to end-users. You’ll have the opportunity to utilize your technical skills and continue to learn new ones as a member of our team.

 

The Sr. Desktop Support Technician performs installation, modification, repair, testing, and/or servicing on systems and communications equipment, including, but not limited to: hardware and peripherals; software configuration; voice, video, and data conferencing devices. 


What you'll do at Insight

  • Support teammates in person and remotely
  • Install, Configure and Troubleshoot end-user PC Software and Hardware issues
  • Troubleshoot IP Phone systems
  • Track fixed assets and inventory
  • Educate and set up users’ hardware/software

 

What you'll need to join Insight

  • 3+ years of experience in Desktop and end-user support with a strong background in operating systems and desktop hardware
  • Experience with:
    • Windows Server/Desktops  
    • IP phones (Shoretel/Cisco/Mitel)  
    • Network Printers  
    • DNS/DHCP/TCPIP  
    • MS VPN   
    • Various Backup solutions   
    • Microsoft Office 365 – Teams, SharePoint and One drive, among others  
    • Mass storage devices i.e.: SAN’s, and RAID  
    • Windows 10
  • Ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills. 
  • Able to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion. 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
