Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for emerging technologies? Then we want you as our Associate Support Engineer at Insight! You'll be responsible for providing top-notch level 1 & 2 engineering break/fix collaboration and networking support for our clients. From remote management tasks to user-reported incidents, you'll be the go-to person for resolving issues and escalating them to junior teammates as needed. You'll work directly with clients, communicating progress on tasks and providing recommendations for their infrastructure. And the best part? Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Provide programming, development, and revisions support for conference rooms. 

  • Handle Cisco or Teams phone service trouble tickets, cabling activities, and teleconferencing support. 

  • Work with AMAT telephony teams to implement and configure Telcom communications infrastructure. 

  • Install and program desk phones, network switches, and Wi-Fi access points. 

  • Troubleshoot and manage network issues quickly. 

  • Understand IP phone software and configurations. 

  • Trace cable connections and properly label wall ports with network connection identification. 

  • Provide field service and customer support. 

  • Run diagnostics to resolve customer issues. 

  • Ensure timely completion of customer tickets. 

  • Repair experience on HP Wide Format Printers. 

  • Respond to customer issues via phone, email, and chat. 

  • Document customer interactions through ticketing system. 

  • Produce timely and detailed service reports. 

 

What you’ll need to succeed 

 

  • BS/BA preferred. Technical degree (e.g., Engineering, MIS, CIS etc.) preferred. 

  • Network certification or equivalent experience preferred (CCNA). 

  • At least 1-2 years business, consulting or technology-related work experience, demonstrating working knowledge in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
