Location:This role is fully onsite in our Fort Worth, Texas office.
 
Compensation: $20.00 hourly
Duration:  Potential to convert to full time after 6 months.
 
This role configures, images, tests, and repairs IT devices (hardware and peripherals) while performing quality checks and completing documentation needed for accurate warranty/contract billing in a lab/warehouse environment where overtime may be required.

As a Associate Tech, you will get to:
  • Configure IT hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers) and peripherals.
  • Deploy system images and customize software based on provided work instructions.
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues; perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Perform quality control inspections and complete required project documentation/reporting.

We are looking for an Associate Tech with:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or 2 years of related experience/training (or equivalent combination).
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and imaging/diagnostic tools (e.g., Ghost, MDT, SCCM, vendor diagnostics).
  • Minimum 1 year of hardware troubleshooting experience (including laptops and desktops for tier-one vendors).
  • A+ certification and at least one vendor hardware certification, plus 1 year of bench and/or on-site service technical experience.
