Compensation: There is a base range between $60,000 $70,000 for this opportunity

About the role
Insight is seeking a Buyer III to support our Solution Integration Center (SIC) with a strong focus on inventory management, procurement execution, and operational alignment.
This senior-level role owns assigned product lines as a business—balancing inventory health, cost, and customer experience—while partnering closely with suppliers, Sales, and SIC operations. You’ll also serve as a key escalation point and mentor to junior buyers.
Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end procurement (PO creation, tracking, execution)
- Ensure accurate goods receipt (GR) and invoice reconciliation
- Partner with SIC to align inventory with build, staging, and fulfillment needs
- Manage and optimize inventory health (aging, excess, consumption trends)
- Develop strategies to reduce obsolete or slow-moving inventory
- Resolve complex escalations and drive root cause solutions
- Manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, lead times, and expedites
- Support ticket queue and meet SLA expectations
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings
- Mentor Buyer I/II team members and support team development

- Fewer invoice discrepancies and faster resolution

- Process improvements that reduce cost or manual effort
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
- Strong background in inventory management and high-volume operations
- Proven ability to manage escalations and complex workflows
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience preferred
