Production Scheduling Coordinator

Position Overview 

(What you’ll do at Insight:) 

  • Perform scheduling activities with project initiatives 

  • Answer customer inquiries from the Fresh Desk ticketing system 

  • Adjust orders as needed to ensure orders continue to flow through the process 

  • Root cause issues causing bottlenecks in the process and provide resolution 

  • Adjusts production schedule as needed to meet customer expectations 

  • Assists in special projects for clients and our sales teams: providing reporting and providing ad hoc status updates 

  • Follow safety guidelines and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition 

  • Communicate concerns regarding manufacturing performance issues as necessary 

  • Proactively inform the sales teams of schedule changes that can impact their clients 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor 

 

Essential Functions 

(What you’ll need to join Insight:) 

  • Must demonstrate flexibility to changing priorities, deadlines, demands and assignments as needed. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and email programs. 

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, peers, and customers 

  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others related to learning, problem solving, back-up support and fostering team support 

  • Prior SAP experience is a big plus!
