About the role

The Integration Lab Team Lead provides daily technical direction and floor coordination for device provisioning, configuration, testing, asset tagging, kitting, and production handoff. This working-lead role ensures that technicians execute approved integration lab work instructions, maintain accurate SAP records, and complete client orders to established quality, service-level, and shipment requirements. The Team Lead serves as the first point of escalation for provisioning and order-processing issues while partnering with lab leadership, engineering, deployment management, inventory control, and shipping to resolve barriers and maintain predictable workflow. What you’ll do at Insight:

  • Translate supervisor-approved priorities into daily bench assignments based on
  • order readiness, technician training, available capacity, client commitments, and
  • shipping cutoffs.
  • Lead shift-start huddles and communicate work assignments, quality alerts, priority
  • changes, and operational constraints.
  • Monitor order volume, work in process, aging, throughput, and blocked work;
  • rebalance assignments within delegated authority and escalate resource gaps.
  • Perform hands-on provisioning and troubleshooting as needed to support
  • production continuity.
  • Confirm that the correct, approved revision of client-specific work instructions,
  • build requirements, and acceptance criteria is available before work begins.
  • Verify device models, part numbers, quantities, accessories, serial numbers, and
  • asset identifiers against the order and pick documentation before bench
  • processing.
  • Lead execution of approved operating-system deployment, imaging, modern
  • provisioning, application installation, firmware and BIOS configuration, enrollment,
  • and functional testing activities applicable to the client program.
  • Use SAP to review assigned orders, priorities, material availability, processing
  • status, and completion requirements in accordance with approved site procedures
  • and assigned access.
  • Ensure the approved order type and workflow are used for provisioning, production,
  • repair, or rework; route order-type questions to the designated process owner.
  • Perform or coordinate required quality-control inspections, configuration checks,
  • functional tests, labeling verification, and documentation reviews.
  • Contain nonconforming product, preserve traceability, and coordinate authorized
  • rework and corrective actions with quality and engineering.
  • Train and cross-train technicians on approved work instructions, provisioning tools,
  • SAP workflows, ESD practices, and safe device handling; maintain training records
  • as assigned.
  • Communicate order status, service-level risks, technical issues, and recovery
  • needs clearly and promptly to lab leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with deployment management, client operations, warehouse teams,
  • inventory control, engineering, and shipping to resolve dependencies without
  • making unauthorized client commitments.
