Google Cloud Delivery Architect II - REMOTE

We are looking to hire a qualified Google Cloud Platform Delivery Architect who has skills and interests in GPC design, work load migrations, and environment transformation.   

 

As a delivery Architect, you will design and oversee delivery of diverse technical solutions.  Understanding of customer challenges, industry, background, and success factors critical.   An Architect must translate business needs into well-designed and compelling technical solutions.  Delivery Architects take the primary role in design and ensuring client satisfaction on projects.    You function as the technical authority and may be asked to educate “why” a design is appropriate or the best fit.   

 

The National Scale Team targets a massive customer base and thrives on customers with exigent timelines. You will be lead on multiple concurrent efforts that may span multiple solution areas and services offerings.  Ability to work with a team, communicate effectively, manage priorities, and context switch is key.  

 
What you will do on National Scale Delivery 
  
•    Inspire clients with a balance of the art of the possible and realistic roadmap. 
•    Help customers build solutions for their technical and business needs 
•    Be an objective advisor and advocate for the customer 
•    Closely partner with pre-sales architects to ensure smooth transition to delivery 
•    Use your creative or analytical talents to guide and educate our customers.  
•    Clarify customer challenges and provide defined technical solutions 
•    Provide guidance for internal delivery resources (point of escalation and mentorship)      
•    Deliver operational rigor on all opportunities to achieve success for all team mates.  

 
We are looking for candidates with the following: 

 

Deep, hands-on design and development background in GCP, across a wide range of GCP services. 

Experience implementing infrastructure and applications onto cloud platforms 

Hands on Infrastructure-as-Code technologies: Terraform, Ansible and knowledge of DevOps. 

Experience architecting, configuring, and deploying Google Data services and solutions 

Extensive experience with compute engine, app engine, and networking 

Ability to work with project leads, customers, and distributed teammates in deploying public cloud services and delivery pipelines. 

Proven background in conscientious deployments via PowerShell, ARM template, Terraform, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible. 

Capable of managing priorities and context switching between multiple projects.    

Possess comfort in conducting troubleshooting

What you’ll need to join Insight  

 
•             Minimum eight (8) years of experience in technical architecture roles  
•             Minimum four (4) years in technical pre-sales roles  
•             Industry or vendor certifications relevant to the cloud space
