About the role 

The Presales Security Architect is responsible for designing, positioning, and articulating cybersecurity solutions that address customer business risks and technical requirements. This role works closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams to support the full presales lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to understand customer security requirements and business objectives.
• Lead security discovery sessions, workshops, and technical assessments.
• Design end-to-end security architectures aligned with Zero Trust and industry best practices.
• Develop solution documentation including architectures, SOWs, BOMs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Present security solutions to technical and executive stakeholders including CIOs and CISOs.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment between presales commitments and implementation.
• Support development of standardized security offerings and reference architectures.

• Identity & Access Management (Entra ID / Azure AD)
• Endpoint & Workload Security (Microsoft Defender suite)
• Network & Perimeter Security
• Security Operations (SIEM/SOAR – Microsoft Sentinel)
• Compliance & Governance (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, PCI-DSS)

What we’re looking for

Required Experience

• 6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, architecture, or consulting roles.
• 4–6+ years in customer-facing or presales roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise and regulated customers.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid security architectures.
• Hands-on or design-level experience with Microsoft security solutions.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, identity-first security, and threat management.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft SC-100, AZ-500, SC-200
• CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
• Cloud Security certifications (Azure / AWS)
