RPA Developer

PURPOSE OF ROLE

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete end-to-end quality control by following best practices to ensure
  • standardization across the operating environments.
  • Provide ongoing support for developed process automation once in production.
  • To understand the need for, and plan change management processes to ensure a
  • seamless transition of process automation into production.
  • To learn new processes and toolsets as and when required to drive new automation
  • opportunities throughout the EMEA business.
  • Engage with clients to demonstrate automation capabilities and technologies.
  • Work closely with the Service Design & Delivery teams to drive adoption within the client environment.
  • To proactively identify, analyze and recommend business process changes to ensure optimal automation opportunities.
  • Work closely with process owners and functional teams to analyze processes for automation.
  • Document detailed requirements and test plans for robotic process automation.
  • Design, develop and maintain highly repeatable and reliable automated processes.
  • Analyse processes for potential errors and implement ‘event handling’ to industrialize processes.

 

Essential Desirable

  • Educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience of working within
  • ServiceNow Can demonstrate a working experience of
  • RPA tools (such as Automation Anywhere, Win Automation, Blue Prism, etc…)
  • Can demonstrate experience in coding practices (such as JavaScript, C#,
  • Python, VBA) Ability to test, debug and resolve issues with RPA and scripted solutions
  • Familiarity with using system APIs such as REST
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing systems and controls in a rapidly changing environment Excellent understanding of workflow based
  • logic and the ability to understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
  • Experience in successfully leading the delivery of outcomes and transformation in a large complex environment
  • Can demonstrate experience in implementing automated solutions into a service operation environment
  • Ability to identify, develop and implement automated solutions with measurable improvements in productivity

  • Experience working with standard programming language practices, requirements definition, and problem-solving in an analytical role Confident in developing information systems and understands the potential of technology to manage and manipulate data for automated solutions, Creative thinker, with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively Ability to identify and implement effective systems to monitor performance Extremely well-organized and analytical with an ability to work well under pressure Exceptional organization skills, the experience of successfully delivering multiple complex projects
  • Ability to engage and quickly establish strong working relationships with partners Ability to work with clients, partners, and teammates at all levels, establishing credibility and building trusted status
