About the role 

Insight is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade network infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on routing, switching, and wireless technologies with expertise in Cisco Meraki and Cisco Catalyst Center platforms. The ideal candidate will assist in network modernization initiatives, and deliver high-availability solutions that support business-critical operations

As an Architect, you will get to:

• Design and architect scalable wireless network solutions using enterprise-grade wireless technologies and platforms
• Deploy, configure, and optimize Aruba wireless networking solutions for enterprise clients
• Implement and manage Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) environments for centralized wireless network management
• Conduct wireless site surveys, RF planning, and capacity analysis for optimal network coverage and performance
• Configure and deploy Access Points (APs) across multi-site environments with attention to placement, power settings, and channel optimization
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex wireless network issues including roaming, security, and performance challenges
• Manage wireless network lifecycle including planning, deployment, optimization, and ongoing maintenance
• Implement wireless security protocols including 802.1X, WPA3, and enterprise authentication mechanisms
• Design and deploy guest wireless networks with appropriate segmentation and access controls
• Conduct wireless network assessments and create detailed technical specifications and design documents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, security, and infrastructure teams
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of wireless configurations, topologies, site surveys, and runbooks
• Stay current with emerging wireless technologies, standards, and industry best practices
• Provide technical leadership during client engagements and wireless solution design phases
• Support 24x7 rotational shift requirements as needed for operational support and incident response

Experience

        • 8-10+ years of overall experience in enterprise networking with strong wireless focus.

        • 5+ years of hands-on experience in wireless network design, deployment, and management.

        • Experience years of demonstrated expertise with Aruba wireless solutions or equivalent enterprise wireless platforms.

       • Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) environments

       • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise wireless environments across multiple sites

       • Strong background in wireless network troubleshooting and performance optimization

       • Experience with wireless site surveys, RF planning, and capacity analysis

       • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, or equivalent)

       • Experience with wireless network monitoring and analytics tools

Technical Skills

• Aruba wireless platforms (Instant On, Instant, Central, ClearPass)

• Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) and Cisco wireless infrastructure
• Access Point (AP) configuration, deployment, and management
• Strong background in network security, segmentation, and access control 
• Experience with network monitoring, analytics, and performance optimization tools 

Certifications :

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Enterprise or Routing & Switching 
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Routing & Switching or Enterprise 
• Cisco Meraki Certified Network Associate (MCNA) 
• Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Network Core Technologies 
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
